Sono Jury Magliolo (voce e polistrumentista,  Autore e Cantautore indipendente, espressione di visioni sognatrici ed eteree, corista per Renato Zero e Cesare Cremonini), Carlo Poddighe, polistrumentista e voce (diventato virale su Facebook con i suoi video "Carlo Poddighe Super Ego", già collaboratore di Roman Coppola, il figlio di Francis, e parallelamente impegnato anche come chitarrista, autore e produttore musicale di Omar Pedrini, ex Timoria, e della band Jennifer Gentle) e Matteo Breoni (songwriter e collaborazioni con Roberto Dellera, Xantone Blacq, Frank McComb) alla batteria e voce. Internazionali per attitudine, influenze e ispirazioni (testi in lingua inglese), The Matt Project si sono esibiti svariate volte in tutta Europa (Marula Café in Barcellona, Pizza Express Live a Londra, Biko Milano, Le Sub Pigalle Club in Paris, Haarlem Jazz Festival ad Haarlem NL, Blues Rhede Club in Germania, Free Blues Club a Stettino in Polonia, The Waterhole Club ad Amsterdam, Mojo Blues Club a Copenhagen) e soprattutto a New York, spesso come headliner nel leggendario "The Bitter End", club dove hanno suonato mostri sacri tipo Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Carole King, fino a Lady Gaga. 

L’ultimo lavoro discografico è l’album “Overnight”, uscito in vinile (500 copie) LP nel dicembre 2020, autoprodotto. Nel 2015 hanno collaborato in studio a NY con il produttore di Joss Stone, Steve Greenwell, co-produttore di metà dei brani dell’album “Tripping Out” (2015). I nuovi singoli invece sono "Nightride" (aprile 2022), "India" (Luglio 2022), "Alegria" (2023) e "Sleepwalker" (2024), usciti su tutti i portali digitali, anch’essi autoprodotti.
